Thinking maybe I shouldn’t have over clocked at all, Rasberry pi 5 was built to run at an optimal 2.4ghz, would also last longer, I mean if your really out for speed 1 could always pick up a laptop desktop mini pc that can easily run at 3/4ghz. 55°C is no problem for a Pi 5. It's designed to run happily at up to 80°C without problems.

Understanding the Context

The numbers may differ for the full desktop versions of Bullseye and Booksworm, but the checks can be applied there to confirm. That said, I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH ANY VERSION OF THE DESKTOP IMAGE OF RASBERRY PI OS, so please run thorough checks before you take any steps (as I did, with full disk image backups). Default login is pi:rasberry (or whatever password you choose) from here, modification of static IP address and configuation files for certain packages (VPN for example) require editing as root.
