Large pyracantha cuttings are possible put the larger the cutting the harder it is to root so you could be successful but probably won't. If losing it doesn't matter then have a go. If you are really keen to succeed then layering is a much better option. Thank you both! I decided to airlayer the triple trunk and take the other one as a cutting.
