Understanding the Context
The Environmental Resources Department (ERD) manages preserves and natural areas, which account for roughly 12,000 acres of St. Lucie County. Open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to sunset, the preserve features two expansive lakes ideal for shoreline fishing as well as canoe and kayak launching.
