Here is a behavior--running along side another duck (generally hens to drakes, but all have done this) and bobbing their head WAY to the side. The target ducks pretty much ignores the bobbing duck, so it does not seem to be doing anything of note in terms of mating dances or whatever lololol. the more questions i get answered, the more i have, lol.
Understanding the Context
how does the wind affect ducks? does alot drive them into little holes and narrow guts? how hard is enough to cause this? if it is a bluebird day, where do ducks go?

thanks again for answering these noob questions. This is my second season duck hunting. A friend introduced it to me last year and I'm hooked. I bought a 16' aluminum with an outboard in the spring, and spent the past summer fishing and also scouting for potential duck/goose spots on the Delaware and Susquehanna Rivers, and a few lakes. The Delaware is closer to home for me.
